Kosher Without Borders Presents

Kosher Iguazu Falls

Concierge kosher trips to Iguazu Falls — two nights at Belmond Hotel das Cataratas, inside the national park.

Belmond Hotel das Cataratas — Inside the National Park

The only hotel inside Iguazu National Park. A pink Portuguese colonial property, built in 1958, facing the cataracts.

Walk the trails at sunrise, hours before the day visitors arrive. Stay for the full moon walks, when the spray catches the moonlight and a lunar rainbow appears across the falls.

The Kosher Arrangement

Before the trip, we call each guest to design the menu together. We fly in the mashgiach from São Paulo with the kosher ingredients — meat, cheese, and local snacks — and the meals are prepared with the Belmond chefs under our supervision.

The culinary experience is designed to be among the most memorable meals of your travels, shaped together with the Belmond chefs and our kosher team.

The Itinerary

The Trip

Two cities. One arrival. Iguazu Falls at the close.

A six-day journey starting in Rio de Janeiro or Buenos Aires — Rio or Buenos Aires for the first half of the trip — then onward to Iguazu Falls and two nights at the Belmond Hotel das Cataratas, inside the national park.

Aerial view of the Buenos Aires Obelisk on 9 de Julio Avenue at night

Buenos Aires

Two nights in Puerto Madero.

Two nights in Puerto Madero. Arrive Sunday morning and stay at the Alvear Icon Hotel & Residences, with two kosher restaurants in the building — Glitter (certified by Rav Yosef Chehebar) and Milk & Co (dairy and sushi). The Once and Abasto kosher neighborhoods are a short ride away. Days move between Recoleta, Palermo, and the city's Jewish heritage sites.

Iguazu

Ending at the Falls

Three days at Iguazu, two nights at Belmond Hotel das Cataratas. The Brazilian side first, for the panorama. The Argentine side next, for the depth. Then a final morning — the Macuco Safari boat to the base of the falls, the helicopter for the scale of it from above — before the flight home.

Buenos Aires or Rio

Buenos Aires at the Alvear Icon or Rio at the Fairmont Copacabana. Both with kosher meals on-site.

Belmond Hotel das Cataratas

The only hotel inside the Iguazu National Park on the Brazilian side. Belmond guests have access to the trails up to six hours beyond public park hours — before 9am and after 5pm.

Kosher meals throughout

Mashgiach-supervised meals at Belmond Cataratas and the Fairmont Copacabana, plus the in-house kosher restaurants at the Alvear Icon and the Once kosher cluster in Buenos Aires.

Park entrances and activities

Admissions on both sides of the falls, the Macuco Safari boat, the helicopter flight, and your private guides and transport. Prepaid and arranged wherever possible, set before you arrive.
