The falls, plus Rio or Buenos Aires

Belmond Hotel das Cataratas

The only hotel inside the Iguazu National Park on the Brazilian side. When the park closes to the public at 5pm. Belmond guests have up to six additional hours inside the park each day — before 9am and after 5pm — when the trails are quiet.

The classic Brazilian-side panoramic walk starts steps from your room — about two hours of easy walking with falls views the entire way.

What People Do

  • Brazilian-side panoramic walk (out the hotel door)
  • Argentine-side full day — Upper, Lower, Devil's Throat
  • Macuco Safari — Zodiac boat under the falls
  • Helicopter flights over the falls (weather permitting)
  • Parque das Aves bird sanctuary
  • Itaipú Dam, Wanda Mine, Tres Fronteras

Kosher

Belmond Cataratas does not normally serve kosher food. Through our long-standing kosher catering relationship, a dedicated mashgiach and kitchen team bring ingredients from São Paulo and prepare every meal on-site in coordination with the Belmond kitchen.
